schoen + sandt with new Investor Quantum
Dear customers and business partners,
As you already know, CGS Management AG acquired the majority stake in schoen + sandt at the end of 2017 and, through restructuring, set the course for a realignment and growth of our company in 2019 and 2020.
In December 2021, Quantum Capital Partners acquired 100% of the shares in schoen + sandt machinery GmbH and its subsidiaries from CGS Management AG and set itself the goal of advancing the reorientation and growth path of the schoen + sandt group, product portfolio and to further expand sales activities and thereby significantly increase market shares.
Schoen + sandt provides this "fresh tailwind" in order to be able to continue to implement and expand the sales strategy for innovative customer solutions that has already been successfully launched worldwide in the future. It is also gratifying that major orders that were received at the end of 2021 and the beginning of January 2022 have given us a very promising start to the new year. In addition, by investing in new innovations, we will increasingly expand our technology leadership and further develop our individual industry solutions. It is beneficial here that the further developed servo-cutting-technology greenSERVO can already be implemented in one of the new orders.
Christian Holland-Moritz has been appointed as the new CEO of the schoen + sandt Group. He has already worked successfully at the top of Quantum's portfolio companies in the past. Together with the existing management team, which will continue to be responsible for the operational business, he will lead the company into the next development phase - with a clear focus on growth.
