schoen + sandt launches sales offensive

With the acquisition of the majority stake in Schoen + Sandt Machinery GmbH last year, the investor ICG International Cutting Group continues to drive the growth of the die cutting machine manufacturer.

With the reorganization of the business processes many restructurings were completed in the past months. "This reorientation was necessary in order to be able to develop and implement innovative customer solutions in the future at the Pirmasens location," explains Sebastian Stolpe, Managing Director Marketing and Sales. "In addition, it is necessary for us to develop a mechanical engineer to become a provider of solutions in specific industries." Together with Bernd Heitzmann, Managing Director of Technology, they steer the fortunes of the company. His decision to devote himself to the tasks of the die cutting machine manufacturer in Palatinate, is justified in the potential that he sees in the traditional brand: "We are in different markets around the world that continue to offer significant potential. Today, Schoen + Sandt primarily serves the automotive interior and flooring sectors. "Its customers include automotive component suppliers and manufacturers of floor coverings. We focus on die cutting machines to tailor-made turn-key cutting systems for the non-metallic industries. We have in the reorganization the product portfolio, structures and processes in construction and engineering to be even more efficient and attentive to our customer needs and technology-driven problem solutions, "continues Bernd Heitzmann.

Major orders from South Korea and Western Europe

"The fact that we are on the right track with our industry and product solutions," adds Sebastian Stolpe, "is illustrated in the recently received major orders from South Korea and Western Europe in the field of flooring and were for two fully automatic cutting lines for the production of LVTs (Luxury Vinyl Tiles)."

So that the company can also be successful in the long term, the decision-makers want to develop the company even more into a solution provider within the scope of the ICG. "As a leading brand manufacturer, we want to offer our existing and new customers the complete expertise in die cutting non-metallic materials. Including the feeding of raw materials in to the systems and the removal of finished parts and waste from the system. This would also include tooling solutions in cooperation with experienced partners, "says Stolpe.
