schoen + sandt receives patent for quality system for security paper machines in December 2019.
With the grant of the patent EP 14 736 269.3, schoen + sandt obtains all rights to the process for carrying out quality tests on mould cover cylinders, dandy rolls or expansion cylinders for the production of watermark paper.
With this patent schoen + sandt continues to expand its global technology leadership in the area of security paper production and can boast that almost 80% of the worldwide production of banknote mold covers for watermarks are manufactured on systems developed by the Pirmasens machine manufacturer.
